This TA opportunity is targeted to individuals (up to 3 per participating state) who are responsible for business engagement as part of apprenticeship expansion efforts. The bootcamp provides training in apprenticeship-specific businesses engagement strategies and skills and includes two sessions with a coach who will help participants apply their new skills to real-world challenges and opportunities.
Grantees interested in participating should take the following steps:
- Determine who in your state you would like to register for the training. Bootcamp participants should be individuals with direct responsibility for outreach to businesses, and can be ASE/SAE grant staff, state or local partners, sub-awardees, and other workforce, education, or apprenticeship professionals affiliated with your ASE/SAE grant efforts. You can include up to three people in your registration.
- Work with selected participants to identify specific business engagement challenges/goals they would like to address through the bootcamp.
- Fill out the interest form no later than March 10, 2020. You will need to include the names and contact information of participating individuals, their business engagement and apprenticeship experience, specific challenges/opportunities participants want to address, and some information on the current status of your state’s apprenticeship business engagement work.
